Born in Viña del Mar, Chile, Marcela has manifested a natural affinity for beauty, harmony, and color since her childhood. She has traveled extensively, and has resided in several countries throughout the world including Australia, the United States, Mexico, and Chile. Her previous studies in psychology, acupuncture, Oriental philosophies, and Yoga, join her passion for art as they resurface in her mature age to provide a summary of her past experiences in the form of her paintings.

Marcela’s abstract and figurative-expressionist paintings are brought to life in her images by a precise amalgam of line and color as they intuitively channel through her from a creative stream of sentiment and ideas. Her work flows freely, conveying poignant messages in her themes.
